Breaded goat cheese and ice cream

Becomes either a starter or dessert, depending on whether served with salad or ice cream.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 200 g soft goat cheese
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 30 g jam sugar
  • ½ vanilla pod
  • 1 garlic clove (small)
  • black pepper
  • 3 slices of Malax Loaf

GOAT CHEESE BREADED WITH MALAX LOAF
-Soften the goat cheese and crushed garlic clove in a food processor and season with black pepper.
-Grind the Malax Loaf into fine crumbs in a blender.
-Form the goat cheese into a ball and roll it in the Malax Loaf crumbs.

 

TOMATO COMPOTE
-Cut the tomatoes into fingertip-sized pieces.
-Place the vanilla seeds and pod, jam sugar and tomato pieces in a saucepan.
-Cook the compote on low boil for approx. 20 min.
-Allow to cool.

Serve with ice cream or salad.
